People seem to stalk my LiveJournal for updates and stuff related to my WHR website and the associated forum, so I figured I'd post this here publicly.

[EDIT 01/18/11]: Yes, Harry's has officially closed... albeit 18 days late. I more than likely will reopen the "Time to Say Goodbye" section so that people can exchange contact information with one another or maybe the fanfic section if anyone still actually uses it to post fic updates, but the rest of the forum content will either be locked (you will NOT be able to make future posts in those threads, but can read them) or hidden (you won't be able to see them period). Forum registrations will more than likely be disabled, but any CURRENT user with login information should be able to log into the forums when/if I open it back up in its new "lying in state" form.

Thank you all for your understanding and for your support for 8 years with Harry's.

As some of you may have noticed or heard, Geocities is discontinuing their free web hosting later this year. Some pages are already impacted by this, such as tripping_fruit's WHR smut fics page, which had "Endymion" and "Origami" on it.

Which brings me to why I even bothered to set this public. I know you naughty people out there must have Meris' fics saved onto your hard drives/CDs/jump drives/etc. And I think there may have been some other places that had Geocities sites with DECENT WHR fanfics on them that weren't seen or found anywhere else.

Please send them to me at kala[at]allay-pain[dawt]net so I can post them up on that WHR fic archive I never bother touching.

For those people who either can't run mIRC or can't figure out how to get it working, or don't want to use a standalone client or the Trillian-built in one, you can use this Java client instead, located here:

It runs straight from the web browser. Make sure you've got Java installed, tell your favorite web browser to accept the Java thing, etc. You know the drill. When the applet loads, it should automatically connect and make you join #orbo. The only thing you'll need to do is set your SN.

If you're still wanting to keep on trucking with your favorite IRC client, the info again is:

Yes, yes... I know solar_whisper said we needed a new network to chat on, so I looked for a moderate-sized one that had a Java Client, so people who couldn't download mIRC or were too lazy to do so could join us. :P
